Brand Recognition Lift
Nourish Organics had been operating for 3 years - building a loyal D2C customer base through word-of-mouth and Instagram content. The product range was genuinely premium: single-origin ingredients, certified organic, produced in small batches. The brand, however, was communicating none of that. A circular green logo, a handwritten typeface, and packaging that looked like every other organic brand on the shelf were costing the business retail listings it should have had and the price premium its products deserved.
A 10-week brand transformation was designed - beginning with a competitive audit that mapped every visual cliché in the organic food category, and ending with an 80-page brand guidelines document, a 6-SKU packaging system, and a complete rollout across all brand touchpoints. Within 18 months, monthly revenue had grown from ₹42 lakhs to ₹1.84 crores.

Four diagnosable brand failures were identified - each with a commercial consequence that went beyond aesthetics and into lost listings, resisted price premiums, and unmemorable market presence.
The brand's existing logo - a circular green icon with a leaf element and a lowercase sans-serif wordmark - was visually identical to 11 of its 12 direct competitors. Buyers at organised retail could not reliably distinguish the brand from adjacent products on the same shelf.
The product was priced at a ₹420 average price point. The packaging communicated a ₹180 product. Retail buyers were sceptical of the price premium, and consumers were using the packaging quality as a proxy for product quality - a comparison that was consistently working against the brand.
The website, the social media presence, the packaging, and the sales deck all used different logo variants, different colours, and different typefaces. A customer who saw the Instagram page and the business card would not recognise them as belonging to the same company.
The brand's written communication changed personality depending on who had written it - formal in the investor deck, casual on Instagram, technical in the product description. There was no voice document, no tone guidance, and no consistency across any written touchpoint.
No logo was sketched until the brand strategy was written. No colour was selected until the competitive landscape was mapped. The brief drove every design decision - not aesthetic preference.

The visual landscape of 12 direct competitors was mapped. Every cliché in the category was identified - the green leaf, the circular logo, the hand-drawn typeface - so the new identity could be built in the whitespace between them.
A brand strategy document was written before a single sketch was drawn - defining the positioning, the personality, the audience, and the visual territory the brand would occupy. The strategy became the brief that every design decision was measured against.
Three strategic concepts were developed - each with a written rationale and a mood board. One was selected. The logo system, colour palette, and typography hierarchy were built from the approved concept into a complete visual system across all variants and applications.
An 80-page brand guidelines document was produced - covering every element with usage rules, do-and-don't examples, and application guidance for digital, print, and packaging. All source files, font licences, and Pantone specifications were transferred on the final day.
Six outcomes were tracked across commercial performance, retail acceptance, brand recognition research, and design delivery. Every number below was verified against Nourish Organics' own sales records and retail data.

"We had a premium product and a commodity brand. Every retail buyer meeting we walked into, the first objection was the price - not because the product wasn't worth ₹420, but because the packaging was saying ₹180. After the rebrand, that objection stopped. The buyer at one of the three chains we listed with told us the packaging was the reason we were given a meeting. Three retail chains listed us within 90 days. Revenue 340% in 18 months. That is what a brand that looks like what it actually is does to a business."
